In short
MILEPROOF Silicone Foam Dressings are absorbent foam pads with a gentle silicone border for minor scrapes, road rash and opened blisters. They soak up fluid, cushion the area and are designed to lift off gently at dressing changes.
Where to buy: MILEPROOF Silicone Foam Dressing will be sold on Amazon US and TikTok Shop US from January 2027. It is not sold on this website.
What is a silicone foam dressing for?
Falls on a trail, a bike crash in a triathlon or a slide on an obstacle course leave scrapes that weep for days. A foam dressing absorbs that fluid, cushions the area and keeps it covered.
MILEPROOF Silicone Foam Dressings have an absorbent foam pad and a gentle silicone adhesive that holds on the skin around the wound but is designed to lift off gently, with less pull on healing skin.
How do you apply a foam dressing?
- Rinse the wound with clean water and remove grit. Pat the skin around it dry.
- Choose a size with the pad covering the whole wound.
- Apply without stretching and press the silicone border onto dry skin.
- Change when fluid reaches the edge of the pad, if it gets wet or dirty, or every few days.
Quality: tested side by side with leading competitors for absorbency, gentle border, cushioning. How we test.
Questions
Can I shower with the dressing on?
Short showers are usually fine if the border is sealed all around. Replace it if water gets under the pad.
How is this different from the scar sheet?
The foam dressing is for open, healing skin. The silicone scar sheet is for later, once the wound has fully closed.
